我們首先來了解一下路由器上的flash。flash可以形象地比作我們常用的PC機的硬盤,但遠沒有硬盤的容量大,主要用處是保存IOS軟件 維持路由器的正常工作。若路由器安裝了flash它便是用來引導路內器的IOS軟件的默認位置。只要fIash的容量足夠大, 便可以保存多個IOS映象文件, 以提供多重啟動。flash主要安裝在主機的SIMM槽上, 或是一塊PCMAIC卡。
